Your Responsibilities

We are seeking a teacher with a specialization in after-school care (fritidshem) for Trönninge School's after-school program.

As a teacher, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues in the work team, for the operations of the after-school program. This involves documentation, planning, implementation, and evaluation to develop the activities based on national curriculum documents and our local development areas. You are expected to contribute to a positive and creative learning environment that leads to increased learning. We base our activities on the students' needs, interests, and experiences, adapting them to their various prerequisites. Through your positive approach in your work, you contribute to our students feeling curiosity and a desire to learn. It is important that you can work independently, are clear, proactive, and responsive to adapt to the needs of the operation. You collaborate professionally with colleagues and parents and are open to new thoughts and ideas.

The tasks vary, providing a varied and challenging work environment. You are a stable and reliable person with a good ability to build trusting relationships with those you meet in your work. During the day, you will collaborate with classroom teachers. Examples include supporting regular teaching or taking responsibility for parts of the planned instruction.

We have a collaboration between Trönninge School and Eldsberga School's after-school program where we meet to develop our teaching. At these meetings, we work with process quality, which concerns the internal work of the pedagogical activities. The content aims to enable every employee to influence, for example, the pedagogues' approach, working methods, interaction with students, relationships between students, and the use of materials.

You will have approximately 2.5 hours of planning time per week together with the work team and 30 minutes of preparation time before the after-school program starts in the afternoon.

Whether you are a newly graduated teacher or have experience, you are equally welcome to apply. If you have qualifications in, for example, physical education or practical/aesthetic subjects, we view this as an asset that we can utilize in our teaching and break-time activity groups.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with a specialization in after-school care and are well-versed in the curriculum documents. To succeed in the role, we see that you are an engaged person who enjoys being involved in planning and development work. You adapt teaching to the needs, interests, and experiences of the student group and find it easy to adapt yourself and your working methods based on changed prerequisites and new information. You have the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues and possess good collaborative skills. Your practice is characterized by self-reflection and analysis.
